Get NZ writing Over the past 4 weeks Room 7 have been learning how to write effective metaphors. A metaphor is a direct comparison to an object/thing.We had to write a metaphor about ourselves on a postcard and then send it to another school and then they would send theirs back to us. We sent ours to Kawerau South School. We also wrote a metaphor poem about ourselves, we had to associate our self with a treat, tree, vehicle, something in our community, a sandwich and a piece of clothing.Sunday, 8 April 2018
